Views like this never get boring.
I needed to generate some color swatches, but I wanted no repetition in the pattern library I’m working on, so I made this little tool.
It finds custom props, formats them and then returns back an array of objects. This is then used to generate swatches!
I love how with Gulp you can create a really complex build process and it still be completely human-friendly to read and maintain.
Webpack is cool, but it’s so much easier to get creative with Gulp IMO.
I am stoked to say that @developurrs is back for the second half of interviews with the incredibly talented, @Chiara_Mensa.

Pro tip: If you’re formatting credit card numbers on the fly, you’re probably not actually helping users.
Latency in formatting becomes a problem if people have password managers / paste their card number into a field.
Yes, it’s fancy, but probably doing more harm than good.
