  2. My biggest challenge as a designer: a follow up

    This is a follow up to this note.

    Kids craft club was an interesting experience. I don’t think many kids touched any of the crafts—just very eager, competitive parents and grandparents.

    Brooklyn and I made an aquarium together. It was good, wholesome fun. She needs a bit of that now that her little sister has arrived and she certainly looked like she enjoyed herself.

  3. My biggest challenge as a designer

    This morning, I’m taking my toddler to a local arts and crafts group for kids. According to her Grandma, there’s some very competitive parents, so the pressure is on.

    The theme is under the sea. I’ll report back with my toilet roll tube shark later.

    It’s nice to do these things with her while I’m on paternity leave.

  4. Software disenchantment

    I detect some underlying anger, but a worthy read which I found myself mostly agreeing with.

    We definitely need to do better.
